"We focus on building an environment where learning happens through experiences e.g. pottery, water play, sand play, working with hands, using senses, development of gross and fine skills, sieving, pasting, cutting, tactile learning, visual and audio assist," he added.
The school, spread over 6 acres, in its pre-primary section will teach through sensorial learning, language activities, social-emotional skill development, storytelling, art, music and dance. The pre-primary section will have one teacher for 12 children so that they get individual attention. The other areas are confidence building of students in a safe and warm environment. These are important because, if a student feels secure and confident, academic learning will happen. Also, focus is not just on academics, but finding the strength of every child and building on that. That is why, ATS vision is not to have a big school in terms of numbers, but the best in terms of touching the lives of each and every child at ATS Valley.
The school also plans to build its own adventure campus where children can participate in daring adventure activities regularly, thereby helping them overcome their fears on way to becoming more confident youth.
