The Fourth International Yoga day was observed by Apex Professional University at IGJ auditorium, Pasighat on 21st of June, 2018 in adjoining with the main celebration of the day with the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu. The event was celebrated in collaboration with District Administration of East Siang, Patanjali Yoga Samiti and Brahma Kumaris.

The Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Registrar, APU staff, Government Officials, Volunteers of Patanjali Yoga Samiti and good number of students of the Apex Professional University participated in the event. Despite the weather obstructions, the yoga enthusiasts reached the stadium by the early hours in the morning to join the celebrations.
While addressing the gathering on International Yoga Day, Aacharya Dhanwaant Singh emphasized that the initiative taken by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to declare the 21st June as International Yoga Day by United Nations has brought immense focus of attention towards India. It has grown the curiosity of the entire world to understand the power of Indian culture, rituals, spirituality and colors of festivals responsible behind the amazing art of Yogic Sciences.
In view of this massive celebration being observed across the globe, Apex Professional University organized a special 'Pre-Preparatory Yoga session' to provide a 360 degree view of unexplored benefits of yoga. In order to pay tribute to this ancient Indian tradition in its truest sense, the event included traditional meditative sessions, informative talk by Aacharya Dhanwaant Singh, Chancellor of Apex Professional University on the origin and adoption of yoga as a mass culture and practical sessions of yoga for students.
