With the inauguration of the 90th batch of Asian Academy of Film & Television another record was created today. AAFT has become the first film school of the world to conduct film, television and media training for the 90th time.

"The endurance of training and survival of an institution for all these years is possible only when you have discipline in education and the system," said Rajeev Kumar, IPS, Deputy Inspector General Police, Heading Cobra Forces, while inaugurating the 90th batch of AAFT at Marwah Studio, Noida Film City.
"Eight years of Marwah's involvement with Para military forces as District Commandant in Delhi Home Guards has added a lot to the success of AAFT. I am impressed by the systems and pattern of training here," said Lt. Gen. Mohinder M Walia AVSM. VSM. (Retd).
"The film school cannot stay away from the music, and the deep involvement of AAFT in music makes it a complete media school," said Begum Yaman Khan renowned singer and music trainer also daughter of the late sitar wizard Ustad Vilayat Khan.
"It is very easy to start in media field but difficult to maintain yourself in this industry. 25 years of services to the entertainment industry and to the nation is not an easy job. I congratulate students who are a part of the 90th session," said Rakesh Sapru, Member of Human Rights Council from Kashmir.
"The film, television and media education is an extension of spirituality. I declare Sandeep Marwah as the best media guru who has given and added a lot to the world of media. No film school in the world could contribute so much in such a short period of time," said Akhtar Khan, renowned Film Maker who started his speech with Shlokas from the Geeta and chanting of Om Jaap.
Later, Sandeep Marwah honored the guests with the life membership of International Film and Television Club and Research Centre of AAFT. Members of the faculty, management and administration also attended the function.
AAFT received congratulatory messages from all over the world on the opening of the 90th session of training, including Bigwigs of the Indian film and television industry and students scattered in over 100 countries.
