The 2nd Global Fashion Week Noida 2018 was inaugurated with great pomp and show by people of national and international importance in the presence of large number of delegates from all over India and different countries of the world.

AAFT School of Fashion and Design has left no stone unturned to provide education at an international level," said Sandeep Marwah at the inaugural session on the first day of the 2nd Global Fashion Week Noida 2018.
High Commissioner of Malaysia H.E Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid, Ambassador of Gambia H.E Jainaba Jagne, renowned beauty queen Shahnaz Husain, former Miss Universe Teen Srishti Kaur, Mrs India Finalist 2015 Deepti Chibber and Interior Designer Shailender Sharma jointly inaugurated the fashion and design week by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
"Fashion is beauty of mind, soul and body. Use those things, which will enhance your internal beauty," said Sandeep Marwah, President of Fashion Design Week.
"There is a huge advancement in science and there is no harm in using the soft and appropriate techniques to enhance fashion in our own life be it clothing, beauty, and looks, be it your internal self," said Padma Shri Shahnaz Husain, known for her beauty products with 400 centres across the world.
"This is the first time we are participating in fashion week, next time I would love to have a team from my country to be a part of the ramp. The launching of Indo Malaysian Cultural Forum today is the beginning of many activities together," said H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid, High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, while nominating Sandeep Marwah as Chair to the forum.
"It is a powerful occasion to launch Indo Gambia Cultural Forum. This is a major event for us. From here on we will create more buzz of our relationship," added H.E. Jainaba Jagne Ambassador of Gambia to India while nominating Marwah as the chair to the forum.
"I am back to my alma mater. The love and respect, which I have received, has added to my international reputation. Good education and hard work always pay in life," said Srishti Kaur, AAFT alumna and former Miss Universe Teen.
Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E. Dato Hidayat Abdul Hamid with patronship of Indo Malaysian Film and Cultural Forum and H.E. Jainaba Jagne with the patronship of Indo Gambia Film and Cultural Forum. A life membership to International Film And Television Research Centre was presented to Srishti Kaur former Miss Universe Teen. A memento of the festival was handed over to the other honorable guests.
A brochure containing information of passing out students of AAFT School of Fashion And Design was released at the same stage. The exhibition of furniture was also opened immediately after the formal inauguration. Director Festival, Ritu Lal offered the vote of thanks.
