Polyrize Expands Operations to the US with New Key Executive Hires
Security industry veterans join to accelerate the company's go-to-market strategy and customer acquisition efforts across the US
TEL AVIV, Israel, March 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Polyrize, a centralized cybersecurity platform that helps security teams protect business-critical resources from excessive and unsupervised access of user identities across the public cloud, today announced it has expanded to the US with two new leadership hires. Former Sygnia executive Matti Blecher has been appointed Chief Customer Officer (CCO), and former Symantec executive Martin Johnson has been appointed Vice President of Marketing.
Blecher brings over two decades of experience in cybersecurity to his new position. Based in Polyrize's New York headquarters, he will create and nurture a corporate culture devoted to customer experience, and lead the teams responsible for helping customers onboard and maximize the benefits of Polyrize's platform. Previously, he served as Vice President, Cyber Security Operations at Sygnia, where he was responsible for the company's overall go-to-market strategy and execution in North America, efforts that resulted in the acquisition by Temasek. Prior to Sygnia, Blecher served as Director, Cyber Threat Assessment Program at Fortinet where he led the company's sales enablement efforts. He also held senior-level positions at a number of leading cybersecurity companies, including Check Point Software Technologies and Radware.
Johnson brings more than 16 years of marketing experience within the cybersecurity industry to his new position and will lead all marketing strategy and execution from the company's new San Francisco office. He joins Polyrize from Symantec (now Broadcom) where he served as Senior Director of Outbound PMM / PM responsible for product marketing, go-to-market, and product and customer experience optimization for the company's Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution. Previously, Johnson held a similar role at Elastica, a leading CASB startup, where he built and led all go-to-market, product marketing, and demand generation efforts that resulted in a $280M acquisition by Blue Coat (later acquired by Symantec).
Polyrize also announced today that Howard Greenfield has joined the company's Board of Advisors. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Centrify where he is responsible for the company's go-to-market strategy with a focus on execution and raising shareholder value. Greenfield was most recently CRO at SailPoint, where he led worldwide sales. Previously, he was Vice President of Worldwide Mobility Sales for Citrix after its acquisition of Zenprise. He has also held sales leadership roles at Wanova, Witness Systems, and Mercury Interactive. Greenfield brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience to Polyrize's Board of Advisors.
"Matti, Martin and Howard have helped some of the most prominent cybersecurity companies become leaders in the industry," said Nati Hazut, CEO & co-founder, Polyrize.
