International Forum on Industrial Civilization Opens in Shanghai, China, Building a Platform for Exchange and Mutual Learning between China and the World's Industrial Civilization
SHANGHAI, Sept. 25, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 24, the International Forum on Industrial Civilization with the theme of "Industrial Civilization - The Power of China" was opened in Shanghai, China. Party members of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Vice Minister Shan Zhongde attended the forum and made a speech; Zou Ciyong, Deputy Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, made a video message; Zhuang Mudi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, attended the forum and made a speech.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is committed to promoting sustainable industrialization. Zhuang Mudi emphasized that Shanghai is promoting new industrialization and the strategy of manufacturing power, actively shaping the image of industry and promoting the spirit of industry.
Wu Jincheng, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Municipal Government, Deputy Secretary of Pudong New Area Committee and Mayor of Pudong New Area, Cheng Peng, Secretary of Party Committee of Shanghai Municipal Economy and Informatization, and Sun Xing, Deputy Director General of Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly released the Shanghai Declaration of International Forum on Industrial Civilization at the opening ceremony of the forum.
