Nearly 400 participants showcased exceptional badminton skills in the first-ever Haier Cup 2023
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Aug. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Haier Cup 2023, the first-ever badminton tournament held by Haier Malaysia reached its thrilling conclusion on July 30, 2023, after an action-packed journey that spanned from 24th June to 30th July. The tournament, held across three states - Johor, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur, captivated badminton enthusiasts with its display of skill, passion, and sportsmanship.
The Haier Cup 2023 drew the participation of nearly 400 talented players from all 3 states, offering them a platform to display their skills and compete for the championship title in their respective categories. As a result of their hard-fought victories, the 6 grand finals champions were rewarded with an all-expense-paid 1-day badminton camp on 13 August 2023 coached by Thailand's esteemed mixed doubles player, Ms Popor Sapsiree Taerattanachai. Through this, the winners were able to further refine their skills together with over 100 camp participants from Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines.
