Collaboration Event for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
The upcoming release of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, scheduled for November 9, 2023, will feature a unique online event in the gaming industry, integrating the new live commerce service "17LIVE Shop" introduced by 17LIVE starting from the end of July. The event is titled Yakuza (Like a Dragon Gaiden) x 17LIVE Shinjuku Vision Appearance Contest.
In addition to the in-app events regularly held on 17LIVE, participating Live Streamers will promote the charm and world of "Yakuza 7 Side Story" to their viewers while also contributing to sales. Viewers can seamlessly make purchases and payments while watching the live streams.
Top-ranked streamers in the event will earn the right to appear in a Shinjuku Station Vision advertisement in Tokyo for "Yakuza 8," set to release on January 26, 2024, where they will promote the game. It's worth noting that online events centered around "Yakuza 7 Side Story" will also be conducted in the Taiwan and Hong Kong on 17LIVE. 17LIVE aims to promote the world of "Yakuza, popular not only in Japan but also worldwide, through the platform.
Furthermore, within the "Yakuza 7 Side Story" game, signage billboards featuring the 17LIVE logo will appear in a specific area. Players are encouraged to enjoy the game and try to find the 17LIVE signs as they play.
Sonic Superstars Collaboration Event
17LIVE has also announced the implementation of a collaboration event with "Sonic Superstars," scheduled for release on October 17, 2023. This game is popular across a wide range of generations and features the iconic SEGA character "Sonic" as its motif. Digital gifts inspired by Sonic will also be prepared, offering an event with enjoyable content for both streamers and viewers, set to begin this autumn.
