Zac Posen Unveils New Bottle Design for Ecco Domani® Pinot Grigio in Time for Summer Celebrations

Admired by fans of fashion and style everywhere, Posen's iconic creations have graced international fashion pages and thrilled Hollywood red carpets for over a decade.  In creating the bottle, Posen adapted a print taken directly from his runway collection and designed it to gently cascade down the bottle as softly as the chiffon upon which it was originally printed.  "Summer is the time to make the most of your gatherings no matter how small or informal, so I created a design that inspired celebration in everyday activity," Posen said. "The festive specks of color in the Confetti Degradé print, seen three dimensionally though the bottle, evoke the same traces of citrus and floral undertones characteristic of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio and entice you to open the bottle at every occasion."

The shared history of Zac Posen and Ecco Domani dates back to 2002 when the designer received the inaugural Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award, a sponsorship that helped stage his first runway show and began a unique connection between both brands. In 2015, Ecco Domani enlisted Posen to create the wine's first-ever designer label, which resulted in huge success and made it the fastest selling Pinot Grigio on the market last summer. As Ecco Domani celebrates its 20^th Anniversary, both brands are eager to present Posen's latest creation.

To celebrate the launch of the Posen-designed Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio, entertaining enthusiasts will be invited to compose summer table settings inspired by the new creation.  Once the limited edition bottle hits shelves, fans of Zac Posen and Ecco Domani will be invited to post images of their chicest tablescapes to Instagram using the hashtag #dressedbyZac and tagging @eccodomaniwines.  One winner and his or her guest will be selected to attend Zac Posen's runway show during New York Fashion Week in September.

The Zac Posen designed bottle will be available in stores nationwide starting mid-July and can be found in the Italian import section of grocery stores and wine shops for a suggested retail price of $12.
