Youfit Teams Up With Best Buy and Staples To Recycle Old Electronics
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., April 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Youfit Health Clubs around the nation are celebrating Earth Day 2015 by opening all clubs to the public and encouraging individuals to bring old electronics to recycle. Youfit will team up with Best Buy and Staples to recycle these items. Approved materials to recycle include cameras, camcorders, rechargeable batteries, mobile phones, computers, video games, MPS players, GPS devices, and CD and DVD players.
The Youfit Earth Day Celebration will take place on Earth Day, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All day, members of the community can get in a free workout at their local club. The public will enjoy unlimited Youfit Lime Card perks, such as guest privileges, discounts on cooler drinks and YouGX exercise classes. There will be games and giveaways as well as goodies from local vendors.
At the celebration, each Youfit Club will raffle off a free one-year membership. In addition, a special offer from Youfit will be revealed during the event.
Being an eco-friendly company, Youfit has consistently worked to make Earth Day a priority. Each health club uses recycled green materials in its construction.
"Our goal is to have the greenest clubs in America," says Berks, founder of Youfit. "For example, when you walk in, you'll be walking on floors made of recycled tires or Nike (NKE) 'grind' (recycled sneakers). Our heating, cooling, water and power systems are also all energy-efficient."
