YoCream International Announces Second Quarter Sales Increase
PORTLAND, Ore., May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- YoCream International, Inc. (Pink Sheets: YOCM), a manufacturer and wholesaler of frozen desserts and beverages, today reported the sales for the second quarter ended April 30, 2010.

Sales for the three months ended April 30, 2010 increased 11.4% to $14,062,000 compared to $12,627,000 for the second quarter in fiscal 2009. Sales of the Company's core frozen yogurt business grew 52.1% in the second quarter following 30.9% in the first quarter.
Sales continue to be robust in the Southwest, with the addition of 13 new distributors and growth of 22.5% for April alone. This performance is a significant indication of sustainable growth in a market that could be considered as mature.
The Company will be exhibiting at the National Restaurant Association Show May 22-25, 2010 (Booth 2212). New products and concepts will be shown to quick service restaurants (QSRs), convenience stores, independent operators and frozen yogurt shops. New frozen yogurt flavors will include Whoppers™, Mt. Blackberry, Hawaiian Pineapple and Sweet Coconut. A new FroYo Shake concept will also be introduced.
