Wyser-Pratte Issues Letter to Shareholders With a View to Rescuing Lagardere

NEW YORK, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Franco-American activist Guy Wyser-Pratte today issued a letter to shareholders of Lagardere SCA (MMB.PA) relating to the upcoming 2010 AGM/EGM.  Mr. Wyser-Pratte is seeking shareholder support in his bid toward election to the Supervisory Board and for change to the Company's limited partnership with shares structure.  In his letter, Mr. Wyser-Pratte, shares his desire to create shareholder value, turn the tide of dismal share price performance at the Company and reign in the abusive two-tier structure that concentrates disproportionate power and control in the hands of the General Partners, including Arnaud Lagardere.
