WXYZ-TV Hosts Digital Town Hall Meeting
A Detroit 2020 Event With Bing And Snyder
DETROIT, March 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- WXYZ-TV is proud to host a unique one hour Detroit 2020 event on Tuesday, March 22 from 7-8 p.m. "Tough Times, Real Answers," is a live digital multi-platform interactive town hall meeting with Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, and Detroit Mayor Dave Bing.
The program offers Channel 7 viewers and wxyz.com followers, an opportunity to ask questions... on air, on line and on mobile, about the future of Detroit and the state of Michigan. The three county executives, Robert Ficano from Wayne County, Brooks Patterson from Oakland County, and Mark Hackel from Macomb County, will also weigh in during the discussion.
The show will address the topics that WXYZ-TV viewers have determined are most critical to the future of our region. Questions during the show will come from concerned citizens through emails, Facebook and Twitter. A live chat on detroit2020.com will give viewers a forum to share their thoughts during the live broadcast.
The show will be hosted by WXYZ-TV anchors Stephen Clark and Carolyn Clifford, with reports from Diana Lewis and JoAnne Purtan.
