WPA Salvation Army Announces Annual Dinner Awardees - Pittsburgh Pirates Alum Steve Blass To Speak

CARNEGIE, Pa., Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Majors William H. and Joan I. Bode, Western Pennsylvania Divisional Leaders of The Salvation Army, are pleased to announce that Pittsburgh Pirates alum and broadcast personality, Steve Blass will be the featured guest speaker at the organization's upcoming 2013 Allegheny County Doing the Most Good Dinner.

Slated for Tuesday, December 3^rd at the Pittsburgh Sheraton Station Square, the event will also honor James E. Rohr, Executive Chairman, The PNC Financial Services Group with the William Booth Award; Heather R. Cianfrocco, Esq., Northeast Region President UnitedHealthcare Community Plan with the Catherine Booth Award; Heath Miller, #83 Tight End, Pittsburgh Steelers with the Project Bundle-Up Award; TrueSense Marketing with the Nehemiah Award; Home Depot with the Community Service Award; and Brian Mutzer and Drew Payne, Pittsburgh Technical Institute Graduates with the Doing the Most Good Award.
