DALLAS, Sept. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Worldwide Express, a leading U.S. non-asset based third party logistics provider of parcel and freight services for thousands of small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) nationwide, announced today it has hired Dolly Wagner-Wilkins as CTO to lead all aspects of the company's technology organization. Worldwide Express executives say her impressive background will further propel sales growth, helping the company capture an even larger portion of the vast SMB shipping market through unprecedented investments in IT, including the building of a robust, nimble, next-generation integrated technology platform to support sales, customer service and transportation management.
Highly skilled with 28 years of experience, Wagner-Wilkins is a seasoned travel and transportation industry executive, having led global software development teams through transformational change and customer migrations. During her career, she has directed software delivery programs and worked with global airline and travel agency customers in a variety of technology and marketing capacities.
In her role at Worldwide Express, Wagner-Wilkins will have oversight and leadership across the technical spectrum of the company. She will be responsible the company's technology roadmap, technology operations, deployment, customer support and overall coordination with sales, finance, operations, marketing, training and other functional areas.

Prior to joining Worldwide Express as CTO, Wagner-Wilkins held high-level positions at Sabre, the leading technology provider to the global travel industry. There, she was focused on leading a large software delivery team, migrating airlines to the Sabre Airline Solutions Customer Sales and Service platform, and other complex integration efforts. Previously, she was responsible for a global team of software development professionals accountable for design, development and delivery of high-volume systems powering Sabre's two largest business units, Sabre Airline Solutions and Sabre Travel Network.
