World Jewry Decries Against Enforced Conscription of Orthodox Jews into the Israeli Army
The Central Rabbinical Congress of New York will hold a protest on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Barclays Center, 620 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217
NEW YORK, June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Upon the call of esteemed rabbinic leadership of Orthodox World Jewry, thousands upon thousands of Jews will gather in mass at Barclays Center Sunday evening, June 11, 2017, to protest the newly passed Law by the Israeli Government to force conscientious objectors to draft into their army.
For decades, the orthodox youth studying Torah in Rabbinical Schools had been exempt to enlist. Due to the ongoing persecution of religion by the Israeli Government, they abolished these exemptions.
Furthermore, the Central Rabbinical Congress takes a stand against the current barbaric handling of the Authorities against peaceful protestors forcefully oppressing freedom of expression, freedom of assembly and freedom of religion. Currently, many civil citizens are incarcerated for speaking out against the persecution of Judaism that is ongoing by the Zionist Government.
At the same time, the mass of Orthodox World Jewry will reiterate that the State of Israel cannot nor does not represent Torah True Jews.
