SALT LAKE CITY, May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Women Tech Council (WTC), (www.womentechcouncil.org) announces it's now accepting nominations for the 2013 Women Tech Awards.

The Women Tech Awards recognize technology-focused women who are driving innovation, leading technology companies and contributing to the community. Nominations will be accepted until 7 June 2013.
"We are happy to recognize top female technology talent," said Cydni Tetro, Women Tech Council executive director. "The women we have honored in the past are a great boon to the technology economy and industries and we know this year's winners will be no exception. We welcome the opportunity to recognize colleagues, clients and other notable women who are doing great work and setting the standard for young women in the future."
Judges for the Women Tech Awards are selected from among the top technology companies and professional firms in Utah. The award recipients and finalists will be recognized at a Women Tech Awards Luncheon in September.
Past winners include female executives from organizations such as Domo, Symantec, ATK Aerospace Structures, Adobe, Novell, University of Utah and Utah Valley University.
