Women in Localization to Host Globalization Mentoring Event, adds Two Board Members
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Women in Localization, the leading professional organization for women in the globalization industry, will host an upcoming mentoring event for professionals representing the client and vendor sides of the industry.
Women in Localization also welcomes Loy Searle and Teresa Marshall to its Board to spearhead a long-anticipated mentoring program intended to nurture professional and personal growth among its 1,500-member base. Loy Searle has been a leader in the localization industry for nearly 20 years, leading in-house, blended and fully outsourced client-side localization and content departments. She is currently with Intuit where she is charged with establishing a scalable globalization foundation to support their international market expansion strategy. Teresa Marshall is a graduate and adjunct professor at the prestigious Monterey Institute of International Studies. She has spent considerable time on both the vendor and supplier sides of localization, including 5 years at Google. Teresa is currently Director of Localization at Salesforce.com.
