Prolog's Expertise to Help Forge Strong Relationships with Data Vendors and Further Enhance Pharma Solutions' Customer Data
PHOENIX, Sept. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions, a leading provider of scientific information and analytics to pharmaceutical and healthcare professionals, today announced the appointment of Henry Prolog as Vice President, Data Strategy, Acquisitions & Services. Prolog brings more than 25 years of sales, data contracts, and marketing experience in the healthcare, technology and information industries.

Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions, Prolog held several senior management roles in related industries, including Siemens Medical, Fresenius USA, IMS Health, Verispan and US Oncology.
Most recently, Prolog was with US Oncology in Houston, where he was National Director, Channels, in charge of managing partnerships and alliances for the Informatics Division. He also spent a decade at Verispan as Regional Vice President of Sales; and was Group Director, Marketing, Service and Sales, at IMS Health in Blue Bell, Pa. He also held a Director of Sales and Marketing role at Fresenius USA in New Brunswick, N.J.; and started his illustrious healthcare information career as Manager of International Sales at Siemens Medical, Iselin, N.J., where he managed sales teams in Europe, Asia and South America.
In his new role, Prolog will manage the supply of data and information sets from PBM's, wholesalers, retail pharmacies and hospitals. He is responsible for setting data strategy for the company's healthcare analytics business. He also will determine the data agreements necessary to support top line revenue growth. Most importantly, he will continue to develop relationships with management executives from current and prospective data suppliers.
Prolog holds a B.A. from Montclair State College in Montclair, N.J. and an M.B.A. from the University of Munich in Munich, Germany. He will be based near the company's Yardley, Pa. office and will report directly to Michelle Woker, President & COO, Healthcare Analytics, in Phoenix.
