WiSpry President to be Featured Speaker at Microtech 2010
- Hilbert joins other industry executives speaking at the Yole Developpement Special Symposium on Technology Commercialization session -
IRVINE, Calif., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- WiSpry, Inc., the leader in tunable radio frequency (RF) semiconductor products for the wireless industry, today announced that president and founder, Jeffrey Hilbert will be a featured speaker for the Microtech 2010 Conference (part of the TechConnect World Conference & Expo 2010) on Tuesday, June 22 in Anaheim, Calif. Mr. Hilbert was chosen for his expertise in RF-MEMS switches for mobile devices.
During his session on "Integrated RF-CMOS MEMS Solutions for Mobile Applications," Hilbert will highlight state-of-the-art results from the implementation of software tunable, digital, and dynamic RF-MEMS circuits in commercial applications. He will also highlight the greatest challenges and opportunities for current product applications, research directions, and paths of future integration.
"One of the key elements I will be sharing is the advancement of CMOS-MEMS technology integration from an R&D activity to commercially available product, from the perspective of process, device and product integration," said Mr. Hilbert. "These considerations are essential for the future of handsets as the new 3G+ and 4G cellular applications are intensifying the requirements for a new, disruptive technology to implement next-generation mobile hardware, particularly in the RF front-end of these devices. Integration of tunable RF devices with high volume mainstream CMOS technology provide the only scalable approach to enhancing the consumer experience through fewer dropped calls and improved battery life, providing more performance at the same or lower cost points."
