WhiteSmoke Releases New Grammar Checking Software
New version uses advanced algorithms tailored to ease communication and bridge the gap between eastern and western businesses
TEL AVIV, Israel, November 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Israeli Software developer WhiteSmoke (TASE: WSMK) launched a new version of their grammar checking software today, named "WhiteSmoke Expert", available for PC users.
Studies show that Asian countries such as South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore are amongst the best in the world when it comes to helping their young attain cognitive and educational skills. Most studies claim that this success is due to a strong cultural emphasis on education. Even though the Asian countries' focus on education is effective, many Asian businessmen and scholars face the language barrier without the proper tools to break it, since the languages are very different.
"Our recent communications and business with Korean companies and educational institutions helped us understand what difficulties they face when they try to communicate with westerners, and we changed our software drastically to help eliminate those difficulties," said WhiteSmoke's CEO, Itay Meroz.
"WhiteSmoke's main goal has always been to help people communicate with one another," said WhiteSmoke's CMO, Amit Greener, "In this version of our software, we focused mainly on helping Asian language users with their communication with westerners, by adding over 150 new corrections that our linguists found are common amongst the hundreds of thousands of our existing Asian users."
WhiteSmoke's software already corrected over two billion grammar errors over the course of its fourteen-year run. Earlier this year, WhiteSmoke released a mobile app, available on Android and iOS.
