What You Experience is What on Sell: Sofitel Foshan Opens as China's First Furniture-Experience Hotel
FOSHAN, China, July 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 1, 2017, Sofitel Foshan, China's first furniture-experience hotel, opened in China's Leading Furniture Town Lecong, Shunde District. It is a benchmark project jointly built by Louvre Furnishings Group (Louvre Group) and AccorHotels Group as well as the representative work of Louvre Group's attempt to develop beyond the furniture filed. According to the insiders, the project will open a new chapter in fields of hotel, design and furniture.
With a height of 236 meters, it has become the city's tallest building. The floor area is 160,000 square meters with curved and hyperbolic curtain walls design. The 325 hotel rooms and suites feature four design styles: modern, post-modern, French and neo-Chinese in the over thirty room types, covering areas ranging from 48 square meters to 550 square meters. From its groundbreaking to opening, it costs seven years with an investment of RMB 1.6 billion, and the time for building such a hotel is triple of that of a regular hotel. Thanks to the ideal integration of building quality, building art, space art and furniture art, guests staying in the hotel are enabled to experience the different art of home life.
The hotel introduces a new business pattern into the market: what you experience is what on sell, which means that customers could buy all items presented in the hotel, from hard decorations, soft decorations, and indoor construction design to every piece of furniture, ornaments, lightings and accessories and even future talent training. The pattern is a new starting point of Louvre Group in leading international life style as well as an exploration of the brand-new integration of features in hotel, design and furniture fields. AccorHotels Group has also regarded Sofitel Foshan as an exemplar to study and share, and is full of expectation and confidence in the hotel's future development.
Louvre Furnishings Group is a diversified and integrated company combining furniture research and development, creative design, store management, purchasing logistics and five-star hotel operation. It is also a leading enterprise and flagship brand in China's furniture circulation field. According to Li Jinghua, Chairman of Louvre Group, "We seek perfection in dealing with details. As China's first furniture-experience hotel, we hope that it could give Chinese people the impression that home can just be like that."
