Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across 5 categories according to the number of Bay Area employees. The scoring was determined by an anonymous survey of each company that asked them to rate their employers on such things as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings and other amenities as well as management practices.
Asked why WePay is such a great place to work, Clerico cited the sense of ownership and impact on the company's direction that comes from working at a dynamic startup in a fast-moving space.
