Panel discussion on web video vs. TV is featured in Destination Broadband Theater
DULUTH, Ga., April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wegener Corporation (Nasdaq: WGNR), a leading provider of equipment for television, audio and data distribution networks worldwide, today announced Vice President, Kamy Merithew, has been selected to be a speaker on a panel during the 2010 NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 12-15.
The session titled "TV vs. Web: Conflict or Convergence" will bring together TV and Web technologists and business people to explain what works and what doesn't in Web video today, how and when it will change, and what business models are developing in anticipation of both conflict and convergence with TV viewing.
Ms. Merithew's session will be held Monday, April 12th 2010 at 11:30am in the Destination Broadband Theater. The Theater is located in the South Hall Upper within the Destination Broadband product area.
Ms. Merithew is Vice President of Product Strategy and Development for WEGENER. Prior to joining WEGENER, Merithew spent the previous nine years at Motorola in the Broadband Communications Division in San Diego (previously General Instrument Corporation), in various product marketing and engineering roles. Recent speaking engagements include discussions on cloud computing, digital signage, and enterprise video distribution.
