Wedbush Securities' Equity Research Names Jesse Bigelow as Managing Director, Director of Equity Research

LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Wedbush Securities, one of the nation's leading financial services firms, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jesse Bigelow, to Managing Director, Director of Equity Research.  Jesse will be based out of the firm's midtown New York office, and he will report directly to Wedbush Equities Division Co-Heads Kirsten Fraunces and Ian Winer.

Since joining Wedbush in 2015, as Senior Vice President, Institutional Equity Sales and Equity Product Manager, Jesse has been instrumental in reshaping and focusing the research platform, spearheading new product initiatives, and providing a fresh perspective for our team.  Drawing upon a long institutional sales career, Jesse brings valuable perspective on what drives buyside behavior, including how and why resources are consumed and valued. Aligning the business model with the current industry environment and compliance with MiFID II initiatives will be a key focus in his new role. Prior to joining the firm, he was Managing Director of Institutional Sales at CRT Capital Group, having started his career in finance at Lehman Brothers in 1991.
