Waypoint Outcomes Awarded Contract With Baker College
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Baker College Center for Graduate Studies has contracted with Waypoint Outcomes, a provider of customized Web-based academic assessment and analysis technologies, to assist the graduate school in improving student communication and critical thinking in the classroom.
On Jan. 7, the university integrated Waypoint's Web-based technology into its current Blackboard Learning Management System. The college's center for graduate studies implemented Waypoint's technology to provide students with high quality feedback and assess student outcomes.
Dr. Jill Langen, dean of the master of business administration program at Baker College, said Waypoint helps the college better serve students. "This technology gives us the capability to provide individual feedback to support students in their learning process," she said.
In addition, Waypoint collects student performance data allowing for academic analysis.
"Waypoint provides us with technological resources to gather authentic data to analyze assessments," Langen said. "Our goal is to utilize this program to set the standard for measuring student success in our MBA program."
