The VoxSciences Voicemail-to-Text replaces traditional voicemail so that you can read your voicemails directly on your cell phone or computer. This is particularly of benefit when you're in a meeting where retrieving voicemail by dialing in would not be convenient or appropriate. You will be able to quickly scan your voicemails in order to prioritize them and decide whether to respond by text, email or call back later. Also as your voicemails will now be held as text in your email you can rapidly search for keywords just as you do for other emails.
"Have you ever been really frustrated with your normal voicemail offering but never realized there was an alternative? Well, VoxSciences now allows US users a way to get more from their voicemail; it has all the features you would expect from a voicemail service plus Voice-to-Text transcription" said Ken Blackman, co-founder and CEO, VoxSciences.
How does VoxSciences Voicemail-to-Text work?
The VoxSciences service allows users to read and therefore, search their voicemails. The service is activated during the registration process, which only takes a couple of minutes, replacing the user's normal cell phone operator voicemail. From this point, VoxSciences Voicemail-to-Text service will answer all incoming calls if the user is not available to answer their cell phone.
Once a message is left it is transcribed into text and the transcription is sent as a SMS and an email to the user's registered email address with an mp3 audio file attachment. This means the voicemail can be read or played.
Added Ken Blackman, "Its great to be launching this popular service in the US. Here at VoxSciences we have a great pedigree of providing Voice-to-Text services to businesses and we are now pleased to have launched our services directly to end-users in the US"
It takes just 2 minutes to register for VoxSciences Voicemail-to-Text and it works with a user's existing cell phone number and operator, meaning there is no requirement to change numbers or handsets.
