Maccabi Electra hosted Zalgiris Kaunas in its Turkish Airlines Euroleague home opener at Nokia Arena on Thursday. Maccabi came off a disappointing 94-78 loss at Caja Laboral last week in which the team was dominated early and many of its new players did not produce as expected. Meanwhile Zalgiris started its season with a 73-62 victory over Partizan.
