NASCAR's top 12 drivers shut down the Las Vegas Strip Dec. 2 to take a victory lap on the famed boulevard as part of Champion's Week in Las Vegas, Dec. 1-3. Led by Series Champion Jimmie Johnson, who performed a celebratory burnout, each driver performed donuts and an authentic pit stop before thousands of fans. Before the victory lap, drivers were honored at the Myers Brothers Awards Luncheon with contingency awards and industry standards such as the Buddy Shuman lifetime achievement award, and the rookie of the year and most helpful driver awards.
