Since 1988, the music publisher Wilhelm Hansen has published song books in Denmark. The fourth songbook has for the first time nodes from popular Danish groups like Nephew and Saybia and the female artist Tina Dichow. The concept is innovative but the book is still based on the well-known categories from the other books in the series. It aims to connect the Danish closer to Danish and foreign music. A lot of the Songbook 4 will therefore contain Danish and foreign popular music written after 1950.
