Veteran Money Manager Vassilis Popotas Joins Winans International

NOVATO, Calif., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Respected investment management & research firm Winans International (WI) is pleased to announce that Vassilis Popotas has joined the firm as a Portfolio Manager effective June 30, 2010.

Mr. Popotas has been working in the financial industry in Athens, Greece and London, U.K. for over 10 years. His primary work has been in forecasting future price moves and managing funds. While working with leading firms, he developed a number of successful investment models. In 2008, Mr. Popotas co-founded and became the first president of the Greek Association of Market Analysts (GAMA). He is a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics.
