VERTEX Incorporated Receives ACORD Award

The Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD) member-driven organization presented VERTEX with their 2010 Life, Annuity, and Health's "Most Actively Involved in ACORD" award at the Forum's Award Ceremony. ACORD also recognized VERTEX for receiving multiple ACORD Certified Expert (ACE) designations.

ACORD is a global, nonprofit insurance association serving the insurance industry and related financial services industries. ACORD's mission is to facilitate the development of open consensus data standards and standard forms. Since 1997, ACORD recognizes their members by issuing awards to those who show commitment and dedication to the standards. Newly added to the ACORD program, is the ability for ACORD members to certify their level of standards knowledge by passing a series of ACORD exams and receiving ACE designations.

VERTEX was selected as a recipient of the award because the company excelled in their level of participation and dedication to maturing the ACORD standards.  VERTEX also demonstrated the company's commitment to ACORD by continuing to implement and certify systematically generated ACORD compliant transactions using the company's VTXml tool.  Several VERTEX employees received ACE designations after demonstrating their knowledge and expertise in Life, Annuity and Health lines of business implementations using the ACORD standards.
