Verizon Global Wholesale Ranked No. 1 in Voice Value
Results Based on Wholesale Customers' Opinions Regarding Quality and Competitiveness
GRAPEVINE, Texas, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Capturing the highest ratings, Verizon Global Wholesale has been rated No. 1 among U.S.-based incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) for Voice Value by its customers in the Atlantic-ACM 2010 Metro Wholesale Report Card.
The award – presented Monday (Sept. 13) at the opening session of the COMPTEL PLUS Fall 2010 Convention & Expo here -- reflects a combination of overall product quality and product price competitiveness. It is based on surveys collected from more than 1,500 wholesale customer ratings and evaluated by Atlantic-ACM, a Boston-based strategic consulting and research firm.

In the survey, Verizon also led in the areas of collocation quality and price competitiveness, receiving the highest numerical average ratings from customers. Verizon offers a variety of interconnection services, including physical, virtual and wireless interconnections as well as house and riser service for both facilities-based and non-facilities-based providers.
