Verizon Customers Can Connect With Friends and Family in Belgium and Turkey for Free Following Attacks
NEW YORK, March 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 170,000 Verizon employees worldwide extend condolences to all our friends and family in Brussels and Turkey. In this time of uncertainty, we want to support our customers affected by the Brussels and Turkey attacks, so Verizon is offering free wireless and wireline calling from the U.S. to Belgium and Turkey to connect with family and friends.
- Wireless users will incur no charges for texts or international long distance calls originating from the U.S. to Belgium on March 22 and 23, 2016, and from the U.S. to Turkey from March 19 and 20, 2016 (applicable taxes and surcharges will apply).
- Home wireline telephone customers will incur no charges to Belgium from their U.S. landlines on March 22 and 23, 2016, and from the U.S. to Turkey on March 19 and 20, 2016 (applicable taxes and surcharges will apply).
