VenueNext Partners With LiveSafe To Bring New Mobile Safety Solution For Guests At Stadiums
New safety and security features debut at Levi's® Stadium
ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LiveSafe, the world's leading mobile safety communications platform, has partnered with VenueNext, a venue technology company transforming the way people around the world experience venues, to offer a seamless mobile safety user experience at its customer venues, beginning at Levi's Stadium, home of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers.
LiveSafe's safety and security solution is available to guests using the Levi's Stadium app, created by VenueNext. The new mobile app feature allows guests to anonymously report safety concerns, suspicious activity, medical assistance, unattended packages and more to Levi's Stadium security officials in real time. Users are also able to interact with security officials through two-way communications and send photos, videos and audio to provide specific details.
"LiveSafe's goal is to help prevent incidents before they happen and by putting this technology in the hands of guests at VenueNext powered venues, security teams will be able to react quickly to issues," LiveSafe CEO Carolyn Parent said. "We're thrilled to partner with an innovative company like VenueNext and provide safety and security solutions that make a difference."
Through a software development kit (SDK), LiveSafe offers Software as a Service (SaaS), allowing apps to incorporate its safety and security functions natively. All of LiveSafe's capabilities become available to anyone with a VenueNext powered app.
"With this feature, we let the fans in the venue be the eyes and ears for security," said John Paul, CEO & Founder of VenueNext. "The convenience of using a smartphone to ask for help is a game-changing way to open up communication on safety and security-related concerns. With LiveSafe, fans can feel confident that they have security officials at their fingertips in case of an emergency."
"The safety and security of every visitor to Levi's Stadium is the top priority for me and my team whenever we open the building," said Jim Mercurio, San Francisco 49ers VP of Stadium Operations and General Manager. "It's imperative that we take every precaution to keep our guests safe and LiveSafe provides another opportunity to empower our guests to report incidents quickly, with privacy and convenience."
The feature is live in the Levi's Stadium app available in the App Store, Google Play and on the Levi's Stadium website.
