FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Velos, Inc., a leading provider of clinical research and specialty medical software, posted record 2014 revenue. The company --- whose customers include academic medical centers, hospitals, government, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies --- grew its revenue 43% in 2014. Most of the growth came from its flagship Velos eResearch product line. Newer Velos product offerings including the Velos Investigational Drug System, Velos Comaiba, and Velos Volunteer also contributed. In addition, the company's Velos Stafa product line for cellular therapy went into general release in 2014 and is expected to be another major growth driver for the company going forward.
"We're pleased with our growth in 2014," says John S. McIlwain, Velos CEO. "We're even more excited about 2015 and beyond. There's been a lot of product innovation over the last several years and more in the works. These investments have begun to pay off for Velos and its customers and will continue to for years to come."
