U.S.-Libya Chamber of Commerce Announces Official Delegation to Tripoli, Libya

Members of the U.S.-Libya Chamber of Commerce will be visiting Tripoli as part of an official delegation joined by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

WASHINGTON, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The board of the U.S.-Libya Chamber of Commerce has announced that an official delegation of member companies will travel to Libya at the invitation of the Transitional National Council on February 24-27, 2012.

This will mark the first official U.S.-led business delegation into Libya since the installment of the Libyan Cabinet on August 19, 2011. The delegation will include a small contingent of member companies from the newly established U.S.-Libya Chamber of Commerce. The delegation will meet with senior ministers of the Libyan government as well as the leadership of the Transitional National Council.

The delegation will be hosted by ILF (Independent Libya Foundation)  President Basit Igtet.
