U.S. Army Awards $36M Contract to Intergraph for Digital Records Management and Declassification Services
Contract work to include full software lifecycle support for over 64,000 users at the Army Records Management Declassification Agency
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Nov. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Army Contracting Command at Ft. Dix, New Jersey, has awarded a base year plus two option year contract with a total contract amount of $36 million to Intergraph Government Solutions (IGS). IGS, as the prime contractor, will provide on-site technical services in support of the Army Records Management and Declassification Agency (RMDA) to analyze, declassify and manage digital records. IGS will also provide proven cyber security measures and full data center support of web-based applications accessed by over 64,000 worldwide Army users.
A leader in the records management industry for nearly two decades, IGS offers deep technical knowledge of records management, declassification, virtual systems and agile software development processes. IGS will fully support, secure and maintain records found in the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS), a web accessible application developed by IGS.

In addition to declassifying over five million documents per year for RMDA, IGS will also employ an experienced cyber security management team and practices that protect RMDA's IT infrastructure and ensure the proper cyber certifications are in place and current.
