Joe Mierwa Brings Technical Expertise in Justice Information Systems to URL Integration
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- URL Integration (www.urlintegration.com), a technology consulting firm specializing in IT integration solutions for government and business, today announced it has hired Joe Mierwa as Technical Architect.
Joe Mierwa comes to URL Integration from Patriot Data Solutions Group where he worked as Senior Information Sharing Architect. Since 2004, Mierwa has been an active Integrated Justice Information Systems (IJIS) Institute representative to the Global Justice XML Structure Task Force (XSTF). Mierwa has over 27 years' experience in managing, architecting, product design, staff coordination and training, and developing extensive multiple-site projects.
Mierwa has been a key contributor to the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) standard with his deep involvement in such initiatives as refactoring the Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM) into NIEM, the migration of GJXDM training into NIEM training, and training others in the new standard.
