Unvired Hires Industry Veteran as CEO, Accelerates Mobile Cloud and Applications

HOUSTON, April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Unvired, Inc., a mobile applications and enterprise application platform company today announced that it has appointed Alok Pant, a veteran of the software and IT services industry as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Board. Alok brings more than 20 years of experience in Enterprise Software, Consulting, Marketing, Alliances, Sales, and Strategy services.

Most recently, Alok was Senior Vice President, at NTT DATA (formerly Intelligroup), where he led the company's Global Marketing and Alliances for over six years. He was part of the management team at Intelligroup that led a successful turnaround, culminating in the acquisition of Intelligroup by NTT DATA. Prior to NTT DATA, Alok was Director, Composite Applications at SAP, where he was instrumental in taking SAP xApps and Partner composite applications built on SAP NetWeaver to market. Previously, Alok has also been with BearingPoint, where he was a leader in the Strategy and ERP Practice. His prior stint also includes helping commercialize NASA technologies.

Alok earned his Bachelors Degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and his Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron, Ohio. Alok has an MBA from Texas A&M University.
