University of Dayton Names Finance Professional Larry Heller R.I.S.E. XI Executive Director
DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 27, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The University of Dayton has named Larry Heller as executive director for R.I.S.E. XI, the world's largest student investment forum.
Heller, a veteran financial services industry executive, will work closely with School of Business Administration Dean Matthew Shank to expand partnerships in support of the forum, scheduled for March 31-April 2 at the University of Dayton Arena.
During his 30-year career, Heller has held leadership roles at firms including J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Bessemer Trust and Bank of America. He also has worked in higher education as CFO and as an adjunct instructor at New York University.
R.I.S.E. (Redefining Investment Strategy Education) brings together international graduate and undergraduate students and professors to interact with some of the world's top financial experts, investment professionals and industry leaders. It's co-sponsored by the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary corporate responsibility initiative.

Heller, of New York, earned an MBA in finance and organizational behavior from Yale University and a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Kansas.
