Unified Communication Industry Leader and Former Avaya Executive to Join Glowpoint's Board of Directors
Ken Archer Brings Extensive Channel Development and Management Expertise to Glowpoint
HILLSIDE, N.J., April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Glowpoint, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GLOW), a carrier-grade provider of managed services for telepresence and video conferencing, today announced the nomination of Ken Archer to its board of directors. Mr. Archer brings more than 30 years of sales channel development and management experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries, in particular working with leading business partners such as Avaya and Hewlett-Packard.

Mr. Archer is a well recognized thought leader and provides industry insight on various topics, most notably unified communications and contact center applications. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of TriNET Systems, a global provider of design, implementation and support services for communication and networking solutions from Avaya, Extreme, Juniper, and Nectar Networks. Previously, he was Vice President of North American Channels for Avaya, a $6 billion global leader in enterprise communications systems, where he was responsible for the sales channel strategy, program, operations, and partner management team. Before that, he spent 24 years at Hewlett-Packard working in various roles within the channels program, producing and managing more than $9 billion in resale business. Mr. Archer graduated with a BS in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and received an Executive MBA Management degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
