U-Haul of Permian Basin Offers Secure Self-Storage to UTPB Students

ODESSA, Texas, Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul recently acquired 14 one-story buildings two miles from the University of Texas at Permian Basin and is refurbishing the property to better meet the moving and self-storage demands of local students and residents.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Permian Basin at 3463 Billy Hext Road opened on May 9 and is currently offering moving supplies along with access to 405 outdoor drive-up units; 119 climate-controlled indoor units; and 48 uncovered RV, boat and vehicle storage spaces. Truck and trailer rentals will be available by the end of September.

"This facility will bring a full line of moving and self-services to the East Odessa market," U-Haul Company of West Texas president Jonathan Martindale said. "We will add more climate-controlled self-storage as well as covered RV storage for our valued customers in Odessa."

When renovations are completed, the 6.25-acre property will feature an additional 452 climate-controlled units; 15 covered RV spaces; towing equipment and professional hitch installation; and propane.
