U-Haul Bolsters Position in Portable Moving and Storage Market with Door to Door Container Acquisition

PHOENIX, May 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul, the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage, announced today the purchase of all of the portable storage containers of Door To Door, a nationally recognized moving and storage company founded in 1996 and headquartered in Renton, Wash.

U-Haul is acquiring containers in 20 major markets across the U.S. Customer containers have been transferred to U-Haul U-Box facilities. U-Box has the industry's broadest coverage serving the continental U.S., Canada, Alaska and Hawaii.
