U-Haul Acquires U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Brunswick

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J., Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The U-Haul Company of Central New Jersey recently announced that it has expanded its network of self-storage locations with the purchase of a facility at 1256 How Lane, North Brunswick, N.J. The new U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Brunswick, formerly Mini U Storage, features 10 one-story buildings, offering more than 77,055 square feet of net rentable self-storage.

U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Brunswick stands on a 12.4-acre lot and is conveniently located between historic Highway 1 and State Route 27. The facility provides more than 588 storage rooms, of which 64 are climate controlled. Customers who rent a U-Haul moving van, trailer or U-Box portable storage for a one-way move can receive one month of free storage before or after their move.

The U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Brunswick will showcase traditional equipment truck and trailer rentals. Updated self-storage features will now include 24-hour security with electronically controlled access, state-of-the-art digital video surveillance, your lock/your key, FREE use of storage carts, no deposit or administration fees, a convenient credit-card payment plan and available low-cost Safestor Protection to help safeguard customers' personal possessions.

U-Haul Moving and Storage at North Brunswick also will be selling a wide variety of environmentally friendly packing supplies: boxes made out of recyclable materials, 100 percent biodegradable packing peanuts and moving pads made from recycled denim. Also on site will be a Take a Box/Leave a Box display, which allows customers or anyone in the community to leave moving boxes or unwanted electronics boxes for another customer to reuse for free, instead of throwing them away or recycling them.
