Turkish Airlines Announces "Early Bird Special," Expands Los Angeles Service
LOS ANGELES, July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Turkish Airlines today announced special round trip pricing on direct flights from Los Angeles, CA, the Airline's newest U.S. gateway, to Istanbul, Turkey, and other Turkish Airlines' destinations countrywide.
Dubbed the "Early Bird Special," round trip flights from Los Angeles' LAX to Istanbul's Ataturk Airport are just $599.00. Tickets from Los Angeles to Ankara and Izmir are only $669.00 round trip. All other destinations in Turkey from Los Angeles' LAX are just $719.00 round trip. These prices include all fuel surcharges and taxes.
Tickets must be purchased between July 5, 2011 and July 15, 2011; the promotional price is valid for flights from October 1, 2011 through December 18, 2011 and January 1, 2012 through February 28, 2012. Promotional fares are applicable on flights TK009 and TK010 only. Promotional fares are valid only on flights originating in Los Angeles, CA.*
In addition, Turkish Airlines, which just introduced service from Los Angeles to Istanbul in March 2011, is adding a fifth daily flight from LAX to Ataturk Airport on Wednesdays beginning August 31st, 2011. The Airline will offer daily flights from Los Angeles to Istanbul beginning March 26th, 2012.
