TruStar Energy Adds Additional CNG Fueling Capacity to Rumpke and Modern Disposal Stations

FONTANA, Calif., May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TruStar Energy, one of the leading designers and builders of CNG fueling infrastructure, is pleased to announce the expansion of existing compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations for Cincinnati-based Rumpke Consolidated Companies and Lewiston, New York-based Modern Disposal Services.

TruStar Energy originally built stations for both refuse haulers, but fleet expansion required that capacity upgrades be installed to facilitate their growing CNG fleets.

Rumpke is adding fueling posts for an additional 28 trucks and Modern Disposal is adding a third 250 horsepower compressor and fueling posts to fuel their addition of 20 new garbage trucks. At full build out, Modern will have 90 CNG garbage trucks while Rumpke will have several hundred.

TruStar Energy began building private "behind the fence" fueling stations in 2008, and has since expanded their product offerings to include public / private station builds along with fuel supply contracts. In addition, TruStar Energy-owned stations can be built for those customers that are not interested in station ownership, but want access to low-cost CNG fuel.

Comora said TruStar Energy has the capability of building 40 CNG stations per year and expects to double that capacity over the next few years.
