True the Vote Provides Online Training for Wisconsin Volunteer Election Observers on Tues. May 29, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. CT
HOUSTON, May 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- True the Vote, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit grassroots organization focused on preserving election integrity, will hold an election observer webinar for Wisconsin-based volunteers on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. CT/ 7:30 p.m. ET. True the Vote President Catherine Engelbrecht said the online training is geared to help volunteers help Wisconsin prepare for its historic recall elections on Tuesday, June 5th.

Earlier this month, True the Vote held Election Observer Training sessions in nine locations throughout Wisconsin to prepare for the upcoming June elections. Trainers arrived from Houston and included True the Vote State Leaders from across the country. Hundreds of volunteer Election Observers were trained. Online training will make the information far easier to access. True the Vote expects to train and mobilize hundreds, possibly thousands, more volunteer Election Observers through the online effort.
