Skid-Steer Owners Can Now Realize Significant Productivity Gains with 3D Machine Control
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) and ATI Corporation announced today a 3D grade control solution for ATI's Level Best PD Series Grading Boxes on skid-steer loaders. With the Trimble® GCS900 Grade Control System, small contractors can work more quickly and efficiently on complex projects that require 3D machine control and digital designs. 3D machine control on skid-steer loaders can also benefit large contractors by allowing them to complete the finish phase of projects with added precision and at a lower cost.
"The collaboration between Trimble and ATI Corporation reinforces our commitment to providing small contractors with construction technology to make them more productive," said Ryan Kunisch, marketing director for Trimble Civil Engineering and Construction. "With Trimble GCS900 now available on Level Best Grading Boxes, contractors have a 3D machine control solution for their skid-steer loader, regardless of the manufacturer."
"ATI Corporation is excited about the combined effort with Trimble. Contractors have the ability to combine the productivity of 3D machine control with a Level Best Grading Box on any brand of compact track or skid-steer loader. This enables Level Best to stay on the cutting edge of jobsite technology," said Jack Herr, vice-president of ATI Corporation.
The Trimble GCS900 system is perfect for footpaths, parking lots, sidewalks and other surfaces that require a 3D constructable model, which can be built in Trimble's Business Center – HCE office software.
