Treasury & Risk Names Top 100 in Finance in June issue
NEW YORK, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Treasury & Risk, a Summit Business Media publication, announces this year's 100 Most Influential People in Finance in its June issue. Each year the editors of Treasury & Risk reach out to executives, consultants, academics and other sources to identify CFOs, treasurers and a host of other leading figures who had a significant impact on the world of corporate finance over the previous 12 months.
"Certain individuals prove their worth in difficult times," says Editor-in-Chief Donna Miskin. "The common thread that runs through this year's list is the extraordinary efforts made by many of these finance executives, regulators, elected officials and other leaders to get their companies and the economy back on track."
The financial crisis also has underscored how interrelated global economies have become, making not only guts and gumption, but also a global mind-set the main themes of the 2010 list.
Coverage of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance will continue through June and July with online exclusives featuring longer profiles of 10 executives who made this year's list. "Readers want to know more about their outstanding peers and colleagues, so this year we are expanding our reporting through our eNewsletter, T&R Express, and on our web site," says Miskin.
The June issue also includes an exclusive interview with U.S. Rep Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, discussing what financial reform means for corporate finance, and another feature story revealing what finance pros really think about financial reform. More reporting on senior finance executives' perspectives and the role of risk management going forward can also be found exclusively online this year via the June 3rd issue of T&R Express.
The June issue of Treasury & Risk mailed on June 1. Read more about the 100 Most Influential at http://www.treasuryandrisk.com/100.
